Ahoy there!
For no other reason than I think you are all fantastic, I am doing something I haven’t done around these parts in awhile.
I could not appreciate your input, words of wisdom, personal experiences and thoughts anymore than I already do…. but want to show my thanks via a giveaway! I decided to do it vlog style (like another one I did way back) because I have been wordyyyyy for quite some time now on the ole blog, and I wanted to shake things up!
Here is what the vlog is all about! (Please excuse my somewhat sweaty and disheveled look… I just came back from a walk 
)
If you didn’t make it all the way through, understandable btw, then here allow me to explain here what one winner will be receiving!
- A whole bunch of energy/protein bars including mini Clif and Lara, Vega Sport, Nature Valley, Barabaras, ThinkThin, and a few other random favorites of mine
- A new kind of cookie butter that is similar to Biscoff and the Trader Joe’s cookie spread
- Sunflower Crackers, Cranberry Honey Mustard, and also Sweet Potato chips
- A colorful collage- filled with motivational sayings, pictures, healthy-living style kind of stuff!
I did mention this in the vlog but the reason for the “tackiness” title is that I have done a similar giveaway TWO other times now with my favorite foods and also a collage…. but I just enjoy making them so much but have a few myself, hence giving them away to a reader is perfect! Plus you win free food and who doesn’t like free stuff we might not even need?! No one

I guess my favorite part of it being summer is just the fact that I don’t have school work to worry about for at least a couple of months. I also love that my mom is a teacher, so she has her summer’s off as well and we can go for runs every morning together!

I love summer due to sleeping in, running lots, family time, yummy farmers markets, and sun!! I could live in a place where its summer all year long. I’m extra excited this summer because I’m going to Zimbabwe, Africa in June for a mission trip! I know this will be a summer I will never forget!

hehe you’re very funny Tessa! btw, your posts are NEVER too long! I used to make collages with old newspaper titles and pictures but got rid of them when I shifted to a new house. Then, I started pasting them into a book! hmm.. we don’t have summer in Malaysia but summer here in AUS is when I get to go home! So, my favourite part about it is definitely the three wonderful months I get to spend with my family! and of course, all the yummy Malaysian food that I’m craving sooooo badly!
oh! and because summer here starts in December, Christmas and New Year is close by!!!! and we have Chinese New Year celebrations in Jan/Feb (depending on the lunar calender!). hehehe

My favorite thing about summer that I am most looking forward to is family vacation. Every year we go to SunRiver, Oregon. Its a super cool resort and we started going the week after Labor Day once my brother and I were done with high school and it’s fabulous because it’s completely empty and we get the bike paths/pools all to ourselves.

This is my first summer in the northeast, but I already know I’m going to love it! I love how up here the skies are SO blue and there’s no afternoon thunderstorms like in Florida. Oh and the fact that the humidity up here is slim to none is a definite plus. I can’t wait to see what my first summer in NE is going to bring, although I can guarantee it’s going to be plenty of outside day drinking

My favorite part about summer (aside from the fact that I’ll have a baby this summer [due in 11 days!!!]) is that there are a lot more opportunities for fun stuff with my DOG! I know, weird, but I feel so bad when she’s cooped up in the house and I love watching her run and play at the dog park all summer. What can I say? I love my Gloria!!
I watched the video! You’re incredibly adorable, btw, and I love vlogs because it’s cool to put a voice to the (writing) voice, know what I mean? I am also guilty of hoarding…tofu! I eat it a lot so I’m always scared of running out – I buy at least 2 or 3 packages of it every time I’m at the store. It’s starting to take over my refrigerator.

What I’m looking forward to this summer is my 16th birthday in August; being able to keep fighting my eating disorder by tackling more fear foods ( like birthday cake!)- without having school stresses, warm summer evenings in my garden with my family; and getting my life back whilst preparing for starting college!

My favorite part about summer is all the outdoor events and farmers markets.
my favorite thing about summer is being able to see everyone from home again! i go to school 7 hours away and since i am on the track team, I don’t get to go home very often during the school year.
I am also looking forward to completing the warrior dash in a couple of weeks and the Rock n Roll half marathon at the end of july. These will be my first couple of races back from my hip stress fracture…im extremely nervous!

All of those things look so good, I’m excited just watching the video! The best thing about summer is being outdoors and taking advantage of the warmer weather by taking walks, going swimming, and doing outdoor events around my city. I’m also a teacher so I get to take a break from the classroom and do something different over the summer.
I love that my parents live (and I grew up) in a beach town- Southampton and I love visiting them and going to the ocean!

I’m working at a law firm this summer and some of the social events they provide are so exciting. In two weeks I’m going to a Yankee game (fun in itself) IN A LUXURY BOX. Crazy! I’m also going to Shakespeare in the Park. So unbelievably excited =)
I’m excited to wear shorts for the first time in my adult life – I’ve always been to self-conscious, first about being too big and then about being too small to wear them!
My main goal for this summer is to get through my eating disorder treatment program and make this the last summer that I ever spend in treatment. I have spent WAY too many summers in treatment. I would like to spend ONE full summer out of treatment before I graduate from college.
The sun!! And my veggie garden!
I’m a special education teacher and looking forward to a little time off!!!!!
Has somebody said something to you about the length of your posts? Coz I love reading them, short or long!
I have been away two weeks and now have a whole bunch to read

ohhh my gosh that is a buttload of awesome delicious stuff!!!! and I love your collages, the one I won last fall is hanging on my wall and will be making the journey to colorado!
So yah anyway this summer I’m obviously looking forward to moving, but before that I just plan on soaking up every ounce of sunshine, relaxation, and family time I can! I’m kind of addicted to laying out by my pool tanning and reading and jumping in the water when I get too warm hahaha!

That’s weird. My favorite are the peanut butter nature valley crunch bars and during ED I would eat half of the 1 bar if I felt hungry. And I remember one of the first things I ate when I was ordered by the doctor to start gaining weight was both the peanut butter bars and it felt amazing. I never went back to just eating one or part of one! Never tried the maple brown sugar though, sounds delicious! I’m obsessed with Justin’s it’s my favorite!! Oh and I’m obsessed with honey mustard so that cranberry mustard sounds right up my alley. My favorite thing about summer is lemon flavored everything, spending time with my boyfriend and friends, and not having to worry about the stress of school. Oh and sleeping in

My favorite part about summer is, well, SUMMER! Parades, the pool, barbeques, family get togethers, making new friends at the pool, vacations to the beach, cute clothes, no school, chlorinated hair (ok maybe not:)) and most of all, that FEELING you get when you know it’s finally summertime! Your collage is soo cool btw!

My favorite part about summer is warm evenings spent outside on the deck, gazing at the stars with a class of wine in my hand. There’s just something so peaceful about summer nights! I also LOVE grilling out with friends and family…salmon and corn on the cob are my favorites!

My favorite part of summer is going to the beach in Maine with my family, but this summer I am taking classes and interning in Los Angeles. I am homesick, but trying to make the most of it. At least it’s sunny and warm every day!
